Exhibition. This competional has been labeled as the replacement on a national scale to the Arts for the Parks competition.

Two paintings selected into the NOAPS Best of America exhibition. 'Sentinel' won the merit award of
excellence and was displayed in the Governor's Mansion in Springfield MO.

In June 2006, two paintings were accepted into the Arts for the Parks Top 200 for further judging
into the Top 100. In addition, two paintings were accepted into the Mini 100.

Two of my paintings, 'Sealed in Time' and 'Canyon Twilight' have been purchased by the Grand
Canyon Association and included in their permanent collection. The GCA collection is on exhibit at the historic
Kolb Gallery, Grand Canyon National Park, through Jan 3, 2006.

My painting 'Last Light' has been selected into the Top 100, 2005 Arts for the Parks Competition.
This is one of the foremost art competitions with paintings selected from a population of approx 3000 professional artists'
entries. Also, my painting 'Sentinal' was selected into the Mini Top 100; 'Sealed in Time' selected in the Top 200 and
'Below the Rim' selected into the Top Mini 150, 2005.

I attended the Jim Wilcox Master Plein Air Workshop May 2005 in Jackson, Wy. This a juried workshop.
Jim is one of the foremost respresentational painters of our time. His many credits include winning the Prix de West
and Arts for the Parks competitions.

I have had 2 paintings selected into the 2004 Arts for the Parks Mini 100. Arts for the Parks is one
of the premier art competitions in the US. Paintings selected are ' Canyon Twilight' and 'Che-Ops Pyramid Up Close'
-- both can be viewed in the Plein Air Gallery.

I attended the Jim Wilcox Masters Plein Air workshop in Jackson this May 2004. Participants were selected
based on quality of work. Jim Wilcox in one of the formost painters of our time, having won the Prix the West and Arts
for the Parks among his many credits.

Two of my paintings were accepted into the Top 200 for 2003, Arts for
the Parks competition. The Arts for the Parks competition is one of the foremost in the nation receiving between 2,500
and 3,000 entries. This was the first year I have entered the competition. These paintings will be exhibited
in Jackson, Wyoming in August and September. The paintings selected are 'Within Bryce Canyon' and 'Going to the Sun
Mountain' -- both can be viewed in the Studio Gallery.

My painting, 'Sealed in Time', was selected for exhibition by the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society
in the Best of America 2003 Exhibition. 74 paintings were selected from a poputation of 731. The exhibition will
be at the Ella Carothers Dunnegan Gallery of Art and Columbia College in Missouri, September - November 2003.

I recently attended the William Scott Jennings workshop
in Sedona. Scott is one of today's foremost landscape painters. Among his many credits, he is a Master Signature
Member of Oil Painters of America; his website is www.wsjennings.com. This was the second of Scott's workshops I have attended. Scott is a very effective instructor, and time spent
under his instruction are of key benefit to my artistic development.
